In the Middle Ages, the small village of Champigneulles was dominated by the church Saint-Epvre and by a nearby construction called the strong House. This one will be transformed into castle probably in the XVIIIth century. Today it is about the City council. As for the church, she(it) was rebuilt up to date on the XVIIth and XVIIIth centuries. Also, at the beginning of the XVIIIth century, François Christophe Le member of the labour relations board, count of Fontenoy, makes build next to path(way) of the Stationery an important castle surrounded with a huge park. This English-style garden of thirteen hectares, conservation area since 1955, accommodates many sorts(species) of birds. It is necessary to add to this historical heritage an industrial heritage always of actuality: the Big(Great) Brasserie(Brewery) of Champigneulles.
