Visit in the discovery of the life of the soldiers in the fortification in times of peace and during First World War, visit commented by accesses(neighborhoods) of the fort, installations of civil defence, of the catchment of the rainwater for the regular consumption.
Two guided tours are organised on Sunday, September 16th at 14 h and at 15 h 30.

Established between 1876 and 1878 on the «defensive curtain» of Tops of Meuse(Maas), he(it) faces up entrenched camp of Metz. Only work updated between the strong places(squares) of Toul and Verdun, it will be equipped with cuirassement and some of these masonries replaced by some concrete. By its architecture and its unique(only) setting-up(presence) the fort is an atypical work in the system Séré of Rivers. The flora and fauna is well present on the site. ASFL watches to maintain and to keeping(preserving) the ruins of this fort while organising regular visits.
