The municipality of Rembercourt-Sommaisne groups(includes) two villages: Rembercourt-aux-Pots in the South of the municipality and Sommaisne in the North. Place of pilgrimage to saint Louvent, the church will be progressively built in XVTH - XVITH centuries. It is possible to distinguish two styles well marked, the Flamboyant Gothic and the Renaissance style. From 1840, the church of Rembercourt-aux-Pots is listed(classified) in conformance with(for) historic monuments. The architect Emile Boeswilwald makes restoration(catering) between 1843 and 1845\. Damages due to the World War I are important. Works of restoration(catering) will be finished in 1935 with the pose(installation) of modern stained-glass windows.
