"The children of the Vel' d'Hiv'"

temporary Exhibition(Exposure) realised as part of the commemoration of the Vel' d'Hiv Roundup
15 and 16 September 2018Passed

How to evoke the terrible fate(spell) which underwent families stopped(arrested) during the Vel' d'Hiv Roundup, in July, 1942, then committed in the camps of Pithiviers and Beaune-la-Rolande where the children were cruelly separated from their mothers there, then deported in Auschwitz where from no returned. No known photo exists of this event, which was “the paroxysm of the final solution in France”, as well as said Twill Klarsfeld. By his drawings of a big(great) evocative power, Giles Rapaport tells, without words and maybe better than words could not think him, this untenable event and especially the disappearance of this thousand children
