«The alliance(wedding ring) of a castle of the Val de Loire and its gardens»: Cheverny is one of the castles most magnificently furnished and its classic facade of the XVIIth century in white tufa contrasts with the lawns which surround it. This private castle and always lived by the same family for more than six centuries is open to the public since 1922, each of generations tried hard to maintain and to prettify the domain. Recently the Marchioness and the marquess de Vibraye attempted "to humanise" the castle by creating on one hand for the Marchioness "his" vegetable garden and by imagining a garden of contemporary enjoyment(approval) for the Marquess.
