On the occasion of European Heritage Days, KDSK will present its work of digitization of the collection of documents: fund(collection) of posters and other communication mediums as well as his(her,its) fund(collection) of works of the public domain, rare or often too fragile to be manipulated. Edités between 1644 and 1941, these documents in Breton or bilingual Breton-French (catechism, grammars, dictionaries, methods(course books) of language(tongue), theatre, studies, tries(essays)), are displayed online(displayed in line) on the web site of KDSK and on Bretania, the portal(gate) of the cultures of Brittany. They can so be notified to all.
KDSK is an associative structure which proposes in its antenna(office) of St-Herblain a collection of documents specialised on Brittany, Breton language and the Celtic Countries, the cultural heritage, under its the most various aspects: literary production, edition(publishing), ethnology, history(story), economic and social life. The literary production of today published(edited) Breton language, is systematically acquired. The Breton literature of French language as well as the literature of other Celtic languages(tongues) establish(constitute) an important part of the fund(collection).
About 18 000 documents are made available of the public, more than 400 titles(securities) of magazines(reviews) specialised on Brittany or the Celtic Countries are also archived there.
