Come discover history(story) and functioning of the Funicular railway of Bregille, presented by members of the association " Les Amis du Funiculaire ". Historic and technical presentation(display) of the Funicular railway, registers on Historic monuments, its creation in 1912 in its closure(lock) in 1987. The revival of the Funicular railway (from 2005) and its future will be also evoked.
Also do not miss the visit of the machinery of the Funicular railway proposed at the high station on Saturday, 16 and Sunday, September 17th!

The funicular railway of Beauregard-Bregille, recently registered on Historic monuments (the low station and the car was restored in 2007), is a funicular railway and a tramline imagined from 1899 by the industrialist bisontin Émile inhabitant of Picardy. The line was intended(designed) to transport the persons having hydrotherapy of the Baths of Mouillère on the heights of the from the Franche-Comté capital. Inaugurated in 1912, the line connected(bound) the bottom(stocking) and the top of the hill of Bregille and was fast adopted(accepted) by the inhabitants of the tray(plateau) to go(surrender) in town. With ups and downs, the line will work until 1987\.
