About the location

Château de Pin
3 rue du Château 70150 Pin

They penetrate into the main courtyard by a classic monumental door with wrought iron railing(bar), facing Castle of the XVIIIth century. To the left the old(former) main building (at the end of the XVth century – at the beginning of the XVIth century) am established(constituted) of a lengthened(stretched out) building windows of which are erratically distributed. It is harmed(served) by a tower with pieces. A door with brace gives access to a stony staircase to pit(core). Two big(great) stony fireplaces in coats with projection supported by fine small columns with capitals(big tops) are seen in both low rooms. The Castle of the XVIIIth century is a strong barlongue construction of beautiful proportions, in a floor, covered with a very spicy(found) roofing in four hillsides. Stony small windows take support on the main facades. The simplicity of the set(group) is fortunately broken by the presence of a forepart vaulted on the facade of entrance(entry). This forepart is limited(quartered) of pilasters bent in simple lines of re-split linked with the floor by a headband(banner). It is possible to indicate the originality of the coverage(cover): indeed the dome was avoided by a simple conical volume which contributes to give to this facade a particular(special) stamp(tablet). The stony staircase harming(serving) the floor also is to mention with its banister of forged iron. The Castle of Pine is registered on the Additional Inventory of Historic monuments since 1967 for roofing, facades and outsides, since 1995 for the inside of the building(ship) the XVIIIth century
