The media library of Grand Dole keeps(preserves) the remarkable whole illustrator of mode(fashion) Charlotte Grappe-Roy (1890-1930). Sketches, watercolors and engravings, reveal in exhibition(exposure) the trajectory of a woman artist in France of the beginning of the XXth century.
This discovery gave rise to wish to confront its drawing with the art of the Japanese engraving, which participates of the fashion of the japanism, that marks Charlotte's work with its influence.
Between tracks and disappearance, it is the portrait of a gifted unknown, attached in Swore, which was tried to raise(draw up) here.

Open place, place of life and of exchanges between knowledges, disciplines and cultures, the Media library of the Hôtel-Dieu has as vocation to give access to all in culture, to promote reading and written patrimonies and built, and to participate in the animation of the cultural life of Dole and of its town(conglomeration).
