For more than 10 years, the Castle of Montigny-sur-Aube is there of European Heritage Days. Organised jointly with the association of the friends du Château, this year gastronomy, culture and agriculture(farming) are in programme:
Gastronomy
• For those who wish to discover the inside of the Castle, do not miss the "lunch Heritage" which will be held on Saturday, September 15th, 2018 of 11 h 00 - 14 00 with guided tour by the owner especially for this day (on reservation and limited places(squares), Registration form: http://bit.ly / inscriptionDejeunerPatrimoine)
• two days, of 14 h 00 - 18 30 possibility of tasting(savouring) sherbets "home-made" from fruits and vegetables of moment;
Culture
• A competition(help) of painting(paint) was held throughout the summer in the park and the orchards-kitchen gardens of the Castle organised by the association of the friends du Château. Works so realised will be exposed(explained) in the course of these two days and every visitor will be invited to vote for the work of his choice(selection).
• prize-giving will be held at the end of the counting of votes planned(provided for) at precise 16 h 00 Sunday, September 16th. A light meal will be offered to all those who will be present.
Agriculture(Farming)
• Sale in the course of two days of products coming from orchards-kitchen gardens: honey, nougat, gingerbread...
