The mill with turbine of the XIXth century (built in 1840) was rehabilitated in ecomuseum. Located at the foot of the city of Thouars, in the bottom of the valley of Thouet, the mill of Exhausting fabricated the wheat flour until 1989\. Transformed since 2001 into ecomuseum, this site is the witness(baton) of the evolution of miller's job(business). The site includes two buildings(ships): an ecomuseum and the mill, where the life of the miller and all his environment are handled(treated) there. Working thanks to hydraulic energy, the Exhausting mill casts anchor in a bucolic landscape or a wild flora and fauna are next(go alongside) to our rich heritage.
