Particular(Special) Site of the Ecomuseum of the Forest of East, the "Shop of the cartwright" is a workshop(studio) of charronage and of smithy installed(settled) in 1900. The cartwright, the marshal-blacksmith and the mechanic fabricated cars, ploughs and gerbières there. Ploughshares of plough, peckers, axes and irons with horses were forged. The manufacturing of wooden wheels strapped(encircled) by metal was the specificity of the workshop(studio).
Located midtown by Brienne-la-Vieille in 300 metres of the welcome(reception) of the Ecomuseum, the "Shop of the cartwright" shelters the exceptional material(equipment) in good working order. We make an appointment with you on Saturday, September 16th, 2017 at 15 h to the Ecomuseum for a discovery of this heritage in the course of a visit commented about 1 h.
