Having based(established) in 1812 and confided(entrusted) to the Company(Society) of Emulation of Jura in 1817, the museum of Fine Arts occupies since 1851 a wing of the old(former) town hall. Collections consist of academic sculptures of the XVIIIth and XIXth centuries and paintings(paints) of the Scandinavian, Italian and French schools of the XVIth century at the beginning of the XXth century to which is added set(group) of ethnographic objects.
