As part of exhibition(exposure) "Bric-à-brac for the gods? Deposits(Warehouses) of metallic objects at the age of some Bronze", we propose you an archaeological stroll to the Camp of the Castle, near(on the side of) Salins-les-Bains.
The region of Salins-les-Bains made the object of systematic researches(searches) around the housing environment of the Camp of the Castle. Around thirty deposits(warehouses) were so brought to light, along cliffs surrounding the site, in this particular(special) landscape of Revermont. Objects are buried in shallow depth, or even inserted in the crevices of the rock showing on the surface. The space analysis suggests a kind of symbolic marking of the territory checked(controlled) since the main housing environment of the Camp of the Castle.
