Île-de-France
The garden was laid out by Albert Kahn around his property as he acquired land between 1895 and 1908\. High-quality landscape and garden workers as well as renowned nurserymen were invited to participate in this remarkable creation in its conception and design but also in its implementation and maintenance. This garden is a veritable park with stages, constituting a vegetal microcosm evoking the representative sites of the various cultures of the world, reflecting the personality and the humanist and philanthropic thought of Albert Kahn.
