The museum of the IMA invites the visitor to discover the Arab world, beyond the received ideas, by presenting him all the diversity of its cultures, ethnicities, languages, confessions, from its origins to the present day. The museography favors a dialogue between works and objects belonging to domains rarely compared: Ancient and medieval archaeologies - Art and crafts - Ethnography - Contemporary creation This journey on four levels of the building, from the 7th to the 4th floor, revolves around five themes: The birth of an identity, From gods to God, Wandering in an Arab city, The expressions of beauty, The body, self and the other.
