The 24h of Innovation – 13th Edition

Created by the ESTIA Engineering institute in 2007, this event is based on the following concept: it is a 24h non-stop challenge of creative developments (such as products, services, artistic creations, software...) proposed by companies and realized by teams and kept secret until the opening ceremony on friday at 10:30 am.
The teams are freely composed of a mix of different schools (engineering, business, marketing, design...) or universities in France or abroad. They also often include professionals, employees, consultants or artists.They have 24 hours to work on the subject they chose and have to present their results in 3 minutes in front of a jury of professionals in the field of innovation.
The winner team receives the “24h of innovation” award and other prizes offered by the sponsors of the event.
Since 2007, the 60 first editions organized in France and in other continents (Asia, America, Africa...) brought together nearly 25 000 persons, 300 companies, 230 schools and universities in over 40 different countries. This 13th edition of “the 24h of innovation®” event organized by ESTIA will take place this year at Ficoba in IRUN on March 15th & 16th 2019. This year it will be a 100% cross-border edition on "advanced manufacturing" (such as additive manufacturing, augmented reality, composite materials, process automation, etc.) in the industry and the companies of tomorrow of all sizes, from all sectors, either they are innovative or "traditional".
