Since 2013, composer, saxophonist, and flutist Anna Webber has led the Simple Trio with John Hollenbeck and Matt Mitchell. Their collective improvisation is “dazzling and intense” (New York Times), never the same from one performance to the next.
Their fourth album, *simpletrio2000* (Intakt Records, 2024), celebrates ten years of collaboration, following *Idiom*, which earned Webber the title of “Composer of the Year” (JazzTimes, 2021)
