Isio, a young Nigerian woman working illegally in the United Kingdom, is arrested and detained in a deportation center. Convinced that following the rules will save her, she nevertheless loses hope after several rejections of her applications for political asylum. With the help of her fellow inmates and her attraction to one of them, she begins to see another way out…
A realistic and poetic immersion into the heart of a detention center, this film stands out for its unique theme: love between two women of African origin. Torn between the cruelty of deportation and the purity of budding desire, this situation is illuminated by courage and solidarity. A story of intimate and political liberation.
