It’s been 7 months since Adam arrived at his new school and that’s stronger than him, but when he is in class, he sleeps. Or rather he is dreaming. To his father who disappeared in the seabed, to groupers and sharks, in the days before, rocked by his mother, now busy with her work at the hospital.
Will Elizaur’s friendship, her clingy friend, the mistress' tea, the birds singing, and Dina’s challenge, the girl with the dogs, manage to make him leave her strange refuge?
It is a play about mourning, separation, absence, and then it is a play about its exact opposite: the uninterrupted persistence of life, of bonds, the constant presence, visible or invisible, of beings who are dear to us and of the living world around us.
