A day of heritage activities at the Archives en Comminges in Saint-Gaudens!
The exceptional opening of this conservation place will be an opportunity to enjoy a 100% “Sustainable Heritage” program!
CREATIVE WORKSHOP
10am-12pm: Workshop with bookbinder-restorer Catherine Allary around recycled paper. Creation of zero waste booklets. Participants will create a notebook with printed recovery papers: newspapers, magazines, packaging, etc.

VISITS10h/ 11h/ 14h/ 15h: Visit of the Archives with presentation of our conservation missions and the exhibition «Les Chênaies en Comminges».
One departure every hour. - General public.
- Upon prior reservation (opening of reservations from 1st September) or registration at the reception of the Archives.
LECTURE5 pm-6.30 pm: Conference on «Horse Skidding and Modernity» by Messrs Pons and Monpère.

CONTINUOUS THROUGHOUT THE DAY (all public)Presentation of old sawing and logging tools/ animal traction by Ecomusée Cagire-Pyrénées.
Demonstration/woodworking workshop, yoke making with Lionel Rouanet.
