Das Kloster von Vaylats wurde zu Beginn des 19. Jahrhunderts erbaut und steht auf einem Grundstück, das einst von einem Nachkommen der Familie de Godaille an Jean Lausiu, den 1785 in Vaylats geborenen Priester, verkauft wurde.
