Museum located at the heart of the city and done up on two levels, the first one devoted to prehistory and archaeology, the second presents the history(story) of Châtillon / Loire of Ve century in our days. A part(party) of exhibits results(comes) from the site of Gannes (Beaulieu-sur-Loire), especially from ceramics and from bronze fibulas. The collection of local history(story) gathers(collects) old(former) many photographies, paintings(boards), copies of official documents and the old(former) objects resulting(coming) from the municipality. The major component is a watercolour of the painter from Orléans Charles Pensée which represents a street of Châtillon-sur-Loire in the XIXth century.
