On the occasion of the European Night of Museums on Saturday, May 23, the City of Uzes opens the doors of Uzès Exhibition V from 20h to 23h.
"Uzès, la métamorphose - Mémoires d'une ville" retraces the architectural evolution of the city, highlighting in particular the creation of the protected area in 1965, thanks to the Malraux law, starting point of its modern transformation.
A visual and sensitive journey plunging the visitor into the memories of the ducal city: photographic fonds, videos, postcards, objects, archival documents and audio testimonies of inhabitants.
This 5th edition also echoes a significant event of the year 2026, the 50th anniversary of the death of André Malraux.

À l'occasion de la Nuit Européeenes des Musées le samedi 23 mai, la Ville d’Uzès vous ouvre les portes d'Uzès Exposition V de 20h à 23h.
« Uzès, la métamorphose - Mémoires d’une ville » retrace l’évolution architecturale de la ville, en mettant notamment en lumière la création du secteur sauvegardé en 1965, grâce à la loi Malraux, point de départ de sa transformation moderne.
Un parcours visuel et sensible plongeant le visiteur dans les mémoires de la cité ducale : fonds photographique, vidéos, cartes postales, objets, documents d’archives et témoignages audio d’habitants.
Cette 5ème édition fait par ailleurs écho à un événement marquant de l’année 2026, les cinquante ans de la disparition d’André Malraux.

Con motivo de la Noche Europea de los Museos el sábado 23 de mayo, la ciudad de Uzès abre las puertas de Uzès Exposición V de 20 a 23 horas.
"Uzès, la metamorfosis - Memorias de una ciudad" describe la evolución arquitectónica de la ciudad, destacando en particular la creación del sector protegido en 1965, gracias a la ley Malraux, punto de partida de su transformación moderna.
Un recorrido visual y sensible que sumerge al visitante en las memorias de la ciudad ducal: fondos fotográficos, vídeos, postales, objetos, documentos de archivo y testimonios audio de los habitantes.
Esta quinta edición también hace eco de un acontecimiento que marcó el año 2026, los cincuenta años de la desaparición de André Malraux.
