Mendel Schainfeld, 49, in Polen geborener Jude, reist von Oslo nach München. Seine erste Reise findet in Deutschland statt, nachdem er aus einem Lager nach Polen entlassen wurde. Freudlose Befreiung: Eltern, Geschwister, Freunde und Bekannte sind gestorben. Mendel reist als Flüchtling nach Westdeutschland. Nach zwei Jahren in einem Lager wird er nach Norwegen gebracht. Er wird Metallarbeiter. Er muss sich immer häufiger einer medizinischen Behandlung unterziehen... Zwanzig Zuschauer nehmen in einem Reisebus, der in einen Eisenbahnwaggon umgewandelt wurde, Platz für eine Reise mit Mendel Schainfeld.

Mendel Schainfeld, 49 years old, a Jew born in Poland, travels from Oslo to Munich. His first trip takes place in Germany after his liberation from a camp in Poland. Liberation without joy: his parents, brothers and sisters, friends and acquaintances died. Mendel goes to West Germany as a refugee. After two years in a camp, he is welcomed by Norway. He becomes a metal worker. He must more and more often submit to medical treatment... Twenty spectators take place in a coach transformed into a train car for a trip in the company of Mendel Schainfeld.

Mendel Schainfeld, 49 anni, ebreo nato in Polonia, si reca da Oslo a Monaco. Il suo primo viaggio si svolge in Germania dopo la sua liberazione dalla Polonia da un campo. Liberazione senza gioia: i suoi genitori, fratelli e sorelle, amici e conoscenti sono morti. Mendel si reca nella Germania occidentale come rifugiato. Dopo due anni trascorsi in un campo, la Norvegia lo accoglie. Diventa operaio metallurgico. Deve sottoporsi sempre più spesso a cure mediche... Venti spettatori prendono posto in un pullman trasformato in vagone per un viaggio in compagnia di Mendel Schainfeld.

Mendel Schainfeld, 49 ans, juif né en Pologne, se rend d'Oslo à Munich. Son premier voyage a lieu en Allemagne après sa libération de Pologne d'un camp. Libération sans joie : ses parents, ses frères et sœurs, des amis et des connaissances sont morts. Mendel se rend en Allemagne de l'Ouest comme réfugié. Après deux ans passés dans un camp, la Norvège l'accueille. Il devient ouvrier métallurgiste. Il doit de plus en plus souvent se soumettre à un traitement médical... Vingt spectateurs prennent place dans un car transformé en wagon de train pour un voyage en compagnie de Mendel Schainfeld.

Mendel Schainfeld, de 49 años, judío nacido en Polonia, viaja desde Oslo a Munich. Su primer viaje tiene lugar en Alemania después de su liberación de Polonia de un campo. Liberación sin alegría: sus padres, hermanos y conocidos han muerto. Mendel se traslada a Alemania Occidental como refugiado. Después de dos años en un campo, Noruega lo acoge. Se convierte en obrero metalúrgico. Cada vez con mayor frecuencia debe someterse a tratamiento médico... Veinte espectadores se sientan en un autobús convertido en vagón de tren para un viaje en compañía de Mendel Schainfeld.
