Pierre Loti im Heiligen Land: eine entzückende Pilgerreise
Im Jahr 1894 unternahm Pierre Loti eine Reise in das Heilige Land. Wenn er den Berg Sinai, Jerusalem oder Nazareth überquert, hofft er heimlich, einen verlorenen Glauben wiederzufinden. Diese Reise wird sich jedoch als «enttäuschende Pilgerfahrt» erweisen.
Aus dieser Erfahrung werden drei Werke entstehen: Die Wüste, Jerusalem und Galiläa, die wir Sie bei dieser musikalischen Lesung, die von dem Guide-Dozenten Kevin Pearson in Begleitung des Musikers Jérémie Arnal (Blockflöte, Saxophon, Duduk) angeboten wird, entdecken möchten.

Pierre Loti in the Holy Land: a disenchanted pilgrimage
In 1894, Pierre Loti undertook a journey to the Holy Land. By crossing Mount Sinai, Jerusalem or Nazareth, he secretly hopes to find a lost faith. This journey will nevertheless prove to be a "disappointing pilgrimage".
From this experience will be born three books: The Desert, Jerusalem and The Galilee, which we invite you to discover during this musical reading, proposed by the guide-speaker Kevin Pearson, accompanied by the musician Jérémie Arnal (flute ney, saxophone, duduk).

Nel 1894, Pierre Loti intraprende un viaggio in Terra Santa. Attraversando il Monte Sinai, Gerusalemme o Nazareth, spera segretamente di ritrovare una fede perduta. Questo viaggio si rivelerà tuttavia un «pellegrinaggio deludente».
Da questa esperienza nasceranno tre opere: Il deserto, Gerusalemme e La Galilea, che vi invitiamo a scoprire in occasione di questa lettura musicale, proposta dalla guida-oratore Kevin Pearson, accompagnato dal musicista Jérémie Arnal (flûte ney, sassofono, dududuk).
