3. Ausgabe des Fotofestivals Mondes en Commun
Das Festival Mondes en commun bietet Brücken zwischen den historischen Sammlungen des Museums und der zeitgenössischen fotografischen Schöpfung. Es fügt sich in einen der Schwerpunkte des wissenschaftlichen und kulturellen Projekts der Einrichtung ein, das Werk von Albert Kahn wiederzubeleben, indem es seine Relevanz für die Herausforderungen der heutigen Welt zeigt. Das Thema des Festivals - die visuelle Inventur der Welt - bietet eine erneute Betrachtung der Foto- und Filmsammlung des Archives de la Planète; dieses übertrieben ehrgeizige Projekt, nach der Formel von Albert Kahn "eine umfangreiche fotografische Bestandsaufnahme der vom Menschen besetzten und angelegten Erdoberfläche zu erstellen, wie sie sich zu Beginn des 20. Jahrhunderts präsentiert". Die Inventare werden auch im Zusammenhang mit den Pflanzensammlungen der Einrichtung zu Themen wie Fauna, Flora, Biodiversität usw. angeboten.

Das Festival wird fotografische Arbeiten zeigen, die das Ziel haben, die Realität in ihrer ganzen Vielfalt methodisch darzustellen, vom Nahen bis zum Fernen, vom "Makro" bis zum "Mikro", vom Lebenden bis zum Unbelebten. Im Zusammenhang mit den Sammlungen des Museums konzipiert, wird dieser neue Termin die zentralen Themen der Sammlung behandeln, wie die menschliche Geographie, die kulturelle und die Vielfalt der Lebewesen, die volkstümlichen Traditionen oder das natürliche und architektonische Erbe.

3rd edition of the photographic festival worlds in common
The Mondes en commun festival offers links between the museum’s historical collections and contemporary photographic creation. It is part of one of the axes of the scientific and cultural project of the establishment, that of reactivating the work of Albert Kahn by showing its relevance with regard to the challenges of today’s world. The theme of the festival – the visual inventory of the world – proposes a rereading of the photography and film collection of the Archives de la Planète; this disproportionately ambitious project to draw up, according to Albert Kahn’s formula "a vast photographic inventory of the surface of the globe occupied and arranged by man, as it was presented at the beginning of the 20th century". The inventories are also declined in connection with the plant collections of the establishment around themes related to life: fauna, flora, biodiversity, etc.

The festival will present photographic works whose aim is to methodically represent reality in all its diversity, from near to far, from "macro" to "micro", from living to inanimate. Designed in connection with the museum’s collections, this new event will address the central themes of the collection such as human geography, cultural diversity and that of life, popular traditions or natural and architectural heritage.

Il festival Mondes en commun propone dei ponti tra le collezioni storiche del museo e la creazione fotografica contemporanea. Si inserisce in uno degli assi del progetto scientifico e culturale dell'istituto, quello di riattivare l'opera di Albert Kahn dimostrandone la pertinenza rispetto alle sfide del mondo di oggi. La tematica del festival - l'inventario visivo del mondo - propone una rilettura della collezione di fotografie e film degli Archives de la Planète; questo progetto smisuratamente ambizioso di elaborare, secondo la formula di Albert Kahn "un vasto inventario fotografico della superficie del globo occupata e organizzata dall'uomo, così come si presenta all'inizio del XX secolo". Gli inventari si sviluppano anche in relazione alle collezioni vegetali dell'istituto su temi legati al vivente: fauna, flora, biodiversità, ecc.

Il festival mostrerà lavori fotografici che hanno l'obiettivo di rappresentare metodicamente il reale in tutta la sua diversità, dal vicino al lontano, dal "macro" al "micro", dal vivo all'inanimato. Pensato in collegamento con le collezioni del museo, questo nuovo appuntamento affronterà i temi centrali della collezione come la geografia umana, la diversità culturale e quella degli esseri viventi, le tradizioni popolari o il patrimonio naturale e architettonico.

Le festival Mondes en commun propose des passerelles entre les collections historiques du musée et la création photographique contemporaine. Il s’inscrit dans l’un des axes du projet scientifique et culturel de l’établissement, celui de réactiver l’œuvre d’Albert Kahn en montrant sa pertinence au regard des enjeux du monde d’aujourd’hui. La thématique du festival – l’inventaire visuel du monde – propose une relecture de la collection de photographie et de films des Archives de la Planète ; ce projet démesurément ambitieux de dresser, selon la formule d’Albert Kahn « un vaste inventaire photographique de la surface du globe occupée et aménagée par l’homme, telle qu’elle se présente au début du XXe siècle ». Les inventaires se déclinent également en lien avec les collections végétales de l’établissement autour de thématiques liées au vivant : faune, flore, biodiversité, etc.

El festival Mondes en commun propone puentes entre las colecciones históricas del museo y la creación fotográfica contemporánea. Se inscribe en uno de los ejes del proyecto científico y cultural del establecimiento, el de reactivar la obra de Albert Kahn mostrando su pertinencia a la luz de los desafíos del mundo actual. La temática del festival -el inventario visual del mundo- propone una relectura de la colección de fotografías y películas de los Archivos del Planeta; este proyecto desmesuradamente ambicioso de elaborar, según la fórmula de Albert Kahn «un vasto inventario fotográfico de la superficie del planeta ocupada y acondicionada por el hombre, tal como se presenta al comienzo del siglo XX». Los inventarios también están relacionados con las colecciones vegetales del establecimiento en torno a temas relacionados con la vida: fauna, flora, biodiversidad, etc.

Pensado en relación con las colecciones del museo, este nuevo encuentro abordará los temas centrales de la colección como la geografía humana, la diversidad cultural y de los seres vivos, las tradiciones populares o el patrimonio natural y arquitectónico.
