429 route du château, 76116 Martainville-Epreville
Built in 1485 by Jacques I de Martainville, the castle is one of the rare examples of early Renaissance architecture in Normandy. He kept his original inner disposition. The museum of Traditions and Arts Normands installed in the castle has a remarkable collection of regional furniture from the 15th to the 19th century. The ethnographic section devoted to Normandy presents itself in the form of reconstructed interiors of farms with objects and testimonies of daily life in the 18th and 19th centuries, an important collection of headdresses, Norman costumes and jewelry as well as popular musical instruments made in Normandy.
