Im Mittelalter war Saint-Omer eine der größten Städte der Region. Seine bemerkenswertesten Denkmäler waren die ehemalige Stiftskirche Notre-Dame (jetzt Kathedrale) und die Abtei Saint-Bertin. Unser Wissen über sie wird durch eine Doktorarbeit* über die gotische Architektur in Aude-Arosa erneuert. Der Autor, Hugo Dehongher, lädt Sie ein, die Architektur dieses noch weitgehend unbekannten Erbes zu entdecken. Diese Route wird mit Etappen an der Stelle von verschwundenen und vergessenen Gebäuden unterbrochen: die mittelalterlichen Befestigungsanlagen, die Kirchen Sainte-Aldegonde, Saint-Jean, Sainte-Marguerite und Saint-Martin.

In the Middle Ages, Saint-Omer was one of the largest cities in the region. Its most remarkable monuments were the former collegiate church of Notre-Dame (now cathedral) and the abbey of Saint-Bertin. Our knowledge about them is renewed on the occasion of a doctoral thesis* devoted to Gothic architecture from Audomaroise. Its author, Hugo Dehongher, invites you to come discover the architecture of this still largely unknown heritage. This itinerary will be punctuated with stages on the location of buildings disappeared and forgotten: the medieval fortifications, the churches Sainte-Aldegonde, Saint-Jean, Sainte-Marguerite and Saint-Martin.

Le nostre conoscenze su di essi si trovano rinnovate in occasione di una tesi* di dottorato dedicata all'architettura gotica audomaroise. Il suo autore, Hugo Dehongher, vi propone di scoprire l'architettura di questo patrimonio ancora poco conosciuto. Questo itinerario sarà punteggiato da tappe sul luogo di edifici scomparsi e dimenticati: le fortificazioni medievali, le chiese di Sainte-Aldegonde, Saint-Jean, Sainte-Marguerite e Saint-Martin.

Au Moyen Âge, Saint-Omer était l’une des plus grandes villes de la région. Ses monuments les plus remarquables étaient l’ancienne collégiale Notre-Dame (maintenant cathédrale) et l’abbaye Saint-Bertin. Nos connaissances à leur sujet se trouvent renouvelées à l’occasion d’une thèse* de doctorat consacrée à l’architecture gothique audomaroise. Son auteur, Hugo Dehongher, vous propose de venir découvrir l’architecture de ce patrimoine encore largement méconnu. Cet itinéraire sera ponctué d’étapes sur l’emplacement d’édifices disparus et oubliés : les fortifications médiévales, les églises Sainte-Aldegonde, Saint-Jean, Sainte-Marguerite et Saint-Martin.

En la Edad Media, Saint-Omer era una de las ciudades más grandes de la región. Sus monumentos más notables fueron la antigua colegiata de Notre-Dame (ahora catedral) y la abadía de Saint-Bertin. Nuestro conocimiento sobre ellos se encuentra renovado con ocasión de una tesis* de doctorado dedicada a la arquitectura gótica audomaroise. Su autor, Hugo Dehongher, le propone descubrir la arquitectura de este patrimonio aún en gran parte desconocido. Este itinerario estará salpicado de etapas sobre el emplazamiento de edificios desaparecidos y olvidados: las fortificaciones medievales, las iglesias Sainte-Aldegonde, Saint-Jean, Sainte-Marguerite y Saint-Martin.
