Come and discover the history of one of the most beautiful libraries in Paris!
On the occasion of the European Heritage Days, come and discover the history of the former priory of Saint-Martin des Champs and its refectory built around 1230 in which the central library of the National Conservatory of Arts and Crafts has been installed since 1852.
Guided tours upon registration, every half hour, from 9:30 to 11:30. Appointment in the courtyard of honor, at 292 rue Saint-Martin. Groups of 20 people

Installed since 1852 in the former refectory of the Benedictine priory of Saint-Martin-des Champs, the reading room of the central library of the National Conservatory of Arts and Crafts offers the visitor a very elegant Gothic architecture. The richly decorated pulpit of the reader, a witness of monastic life, and the porch with plant ornaments are still visible.
