This former large private house, with a vaulted ground floor of an unusual elevation for this type of construction, already belonged at the beginning of the eighteenth century to a Grange family whose daughter (born in 1797) inherited. Anne Grange when she entered religion in the congregation of the Presentation of Mary left her property to her brother, the parish priest of Labastide, who established a chapel there and installed nuns holding a free school in the upper part of the house. It was during the whole 19th century and the first half of the 20th century the place of prayer of the inhabitants of the hamlet. Fallen into disuse, it was restored from 1998, and an association was created in 2003.
