Die öffentlichen und privaten französischen Sammlungen tragen immer noch die Narben der Verfolgungen des Zweiten Weltkriegs (1939-1945). Die Enteignung von Kunstgegenständen ist Teil des systematischen Prozesses der rassistischen und antisemitischen Vernichtung, der damals eingesetzt wurde, während zu den verschwundenen Werken noch die verwaisten Werke hinzukamen. Methoden und Akteure, Nazis und Wichisten, konkurrieren bei dieser großangelegten Plünderung. Die Region Centre-Val de Loire, der Ankerpunkt des evakuierten Museumserbes, befindet sich dennoch im Zentrum dieser Problematiken, die heute die Suche nach der Herkunft fordern, um die Erinnerungen zu reparieren und unsere Schätze zu ehren.

French collections, both public and private, still bear the scars of the persecutions of the Second World War (1939-1945). The spoliation of art objects participates in the systematic process of racial and anti-Semitic annihilation then set up, while to the disappeared works are added the orphan works. Methods and actors, both Nazis and Vichysts, compete in this large-scale looting. The Centre-Val de Loire region, an anchor point for the evacuated museum heritage, is nevertheless at the heart of these issues that now call for provenance research to repair memories and honor our treasures.

Le collezioni francesi, pubbliche e private, portano ancora gli stigmi delle persecuzioni della seconda guerra mondiale (1939-1945). La spoliazione degli oggetti d'arte partecipa al processo sistematico di annientamento razziale e antisemita allora messo in atto, mentre alle opere scomparse si aggiungono le opere orfane. Metodi e attori, nazisti e vichisti, competono in questo saccheggio su larga scala. La regione Centro-Valle della Loira, punto di ancoraggio del patrimonio museale evacuato, si trova tuttavia al cuore di queste problematiche che oggi convocano la ricerca di provenienza per riparare le memorie e onorare i nostri tesori.

La spoliation des objets d’art participe au processus systématique d’anéantissement racial et antisémite alors mis en place, tandis qu’aux œuvres disparues s’ajoutent les œuvres orphelines. Méthodes et acteurs, nazis et vichystes, rivalisent dans ce pillage à grande échelle. La région Centre-Val de Loire, point d’ancrage du patrimoine muséal évacué, se trouve pourtant au cœur de ces problématiques qui convoquent aujourd’hui la recherche de provenance pour réparer les mémoires et honorer nos trésors.

Las colecciones francesas, públicas y privadas, todavía llevan los estigmas de las persecuciones de la Segunda Guerra Mundial (1939-1945). La expoliación de los objetos de arte participa del proceso sistemático de aniquilación racial y antisemita que se puso en marcha, mientras que a las obras desaparecidas se añaden las obras huérfanas. Métodos y actores, nazis y vichystas, compiten en este saqueo a gran escala. La región Centro-Valle del Loira, punto de anclaje del patrimonio museístico evacuado, se encuentra sin embargo en el corazón de estas problemáticas que hoy convocan la búsqueda de procedencia para reparar las memorias y honrar nuestros tesoros.
