Die Gernet-Glotz-Bibliothek, spezialisiert auf die antike Geschichte der griechischen und römischen Welt, öffnet anlässlich der Europäischen Tage des Kulturerbes ihre Pforten. Das Herzstück seiner Sammlungen sind die Geistes- und Sozialwissenschaften im griechisch-römischen Mittelmeerraum vom 1. Jahrtausend v. Chr. bis zum 5. Jahrhundert n. Chr.
Drei von Fachleuten moderierte Workshops werden der Öffentlichkeit angeboten:
– Altgriechisch lesen und schreiben
– Die Entdeckung der römischen Küche
– Griechische und römische Bilder, Bedienungsanleitung

The Gernet-Glotz library, specialized in the ancient history of the Greek and Roman worlds, opens its doors on the occasion of the European Heritage Days. The core of its collections covers the humanities and social sciences in the Greco-Roman Mediterranean, from the 1st millennium BC to the 5th century AD.
Three workshops, led by specialists, are offered to the public:
– Reading and writing ancient Greek
– Discovering Roman cuisine
– Greek and Roman images, user manual

La bibliothèque Gernet-Glotz, spécialisée dans l’histoire ancienne des mondes grec et romain, ouvre ses portes à l’occasion des Journées européennes du patrimoine. Le cœur de ses collections couvre les sciences humaines et sociales dans la Méditerranée gréco-romaine, du Ier millénaire avant notre ère au Ve siècle de notre ère.
Trois ateliers, animés par des spécialistes, sont proposés au public :
– Lire et écrire le grec ancien
– À la découverte de la cuisine des Romains
– Images grecques et romaines, mode d'emploi

La biblioteca Gernet-Glotz, especializada en la historia antigua de los mundos griego y romano, abre sus puertas con ocasión de las Jornadas europeas del patrimonio. El núcleo de sus colecciones abarca las ciencias humanas y sociales en el Mediterráneo grecorromano, desde el I milenio antes de nuestra era hasta el siglo V de nuestra era.
Se ofrecen al público tres talleres, dirigidos por especialistas:
– Leer y escribir en griego antiguo
– Descubriendo la cocina de los romanos
– Imágenes griegas y romanas, instrucciones de uso
