Die Stadt Ondres lädt Sie ein, die Überreste einer alten Position der Atlantikmauer bei einem kommentierten Besuch zu entdecken, der sich der Geschichte, Architektur und Organisation dieses riesigen Küstenverteidigungssystems widmet, das während des Zweiten Weltkriegs gebaut wurde.
Lernen Sie im Laufe der Reise, die verschiedenen noch sichtbaren Bunkertypen zu erkennen, ihre Funktion innerhalb des deutschen Verteidigungssystems zu verstehen und die vielen architektonischen Details zu entschlüsseln, die von ihrer Nutzung zeugen.
Der Besuch wird auch die Entwicklung dieser Werke bis heute sowie die Herausforderungen im Zusammenhang mit der Erhaltung dieses besonders gefährdeten historischen Erbes behandeln.

The City of Ondres invites you to discover the remains of an old position of the Atlantic Wall during a guided tour dedicated to the history, architecture and organization of this vast coastal defense system built during the Second World War.
Along the way, learn to recognize the different types of bunkers still visible, understand their function within the German defensive system and decipher the numerous architectural details that testify to their use.
The visit will also address the evolution of these structures up to the present day, as well as issues related to the conservation of this particularly vulnerable historical heritage.
Accessible to all, this course combines history, military architecture and reading the landscape to take a new look at these emblematic remains of the Atlantic Wall, also called Atlantikwall.
