Es wäre für das wenig geübte Auge schwierig, das Denkmal ohne diese auf seinem Giebel eingravierte Inschrift: "Reformierte Kirche Frankreichs" zu identifizieren. Sein Interieur, beeindruckend in seiner Stärke aber warm, bildet ein ebenso massives Ensemble, dessen Gestaltung sich im Laufe der Jahrhunderte weiterentwickelt und verändert hat, wobei die Gestaltung historisch von denen abhängig war, die es gebaut haben.
