The exhibition Grasse/ Fragments d'un récit photographique/ Alain Sabatier is an invitation to discover the point of view of the photographer. Both a witness of his time and a creator of poetic images, he documents and makes the moment timeless. A selection of black and white film works from the exhibition Grasse, portrait of a 1982 Provencal city kept at the heritage library – photos Alain Sabatier (Grasse, 1945), scientific collaboration Jean-Claude Poteur (Grasse, 1945-2017) , illustrates the photographic story of Alain Sabatier on the city of Grasse, and proposes to us to build our own history. The exhibition route addresses the themes of light, framing, composition and movement. The fragments presented, evocative, allow everyone to write their relationship to heritage, which, like Alain Sabatier’s film, is necessarily sensitive.
