Benjamin Melia begann seinen künstlerischen Werdegang auf den Straßen, im Herzen der Dorffeste der Provence und des Landes Nizza und setzte seine Ausbildung am Konservatorium fort. Seine künstlerische Geste verschiebt die Vorstellungskraft der Provence in eine umfassendere Kartografie. Er beansprucht eine offene und dialektische Tradition, gedacht als ein Gegenmittel zur "Postkarte".

Benjamin Melia began his artistic journey in the streets, at the heart of the village festivals of Provence and Nice, and continued his training at the Conservatoire. His artistic gesture moves the imagination of Provence towards a broader map. He claims an open and dialectical tradition, thought as an antidote to the "postcard".
