Im 12. Jahrhundert ließ der Herzog von Lothringen Thierry II. die Kirche Saint-Nicolas errichten, die über der Stadt Neufchâteau thront und durch ihre untypische Architektur beeindruckt: Die obere Kirche wird auf dem Hügel von einer romanischen Krypta gestützt. Die zahlreichen Kapellen, die im 15. und 16. Jahrhundert hinzugefügt wurden, machen diese Kirche imposant und beeindruckend.
Sonntags werden Ihnen von Zeit zu Zeit musikalische Pausen angeboten, damit Sie die Schätze dieses Denkmals entdecken und gleichzeitig die Melodie seiner Orgel aus dem 17. Jahrhundert genießen können.

In the 12th century, the Duke of Lorraine Thierry II built the church of Saint-Nicolas which overlooks the town of Neufchâteau and impresses with its atypical architecture: the upper church is supported at the top of the hill by a Romanesque crypt. The many chapels that were added to it in the 15th and 16th centuries make this church imposing and impressive.
Musical interludes will be offered from time to time on Sunday, allowing you to discover the treasures that this monument holds while enjoying the melody of its organ of the seventeenth century.

Nel XII secolo, il duca di Lorena Teodorico II fece costruire la chiesa di San Nicola che sovrasta la città di Neufchâteau e impressiona per la sua architettura atipica: la chiesa superiore è sostenuta in cima alla collina da una cripta romanica. Le numerose cappelle che gli sono state aggiunte nel XV e XVI secolo rendono questa chiesa imponente ed impressionante.
Di tanto in tanto, la domenica vi saranno proposti interludi musicali per scoprire i tesori che racchiude questo monumento godendovi la melodia del suo organo del XVII secolo.

Au XIIe siècle, le duc de Lorraine Thierry II fait bâtir l’église Saint-Nicolas qui surplombe la ville de Neufchâteau et impressionne par son architecture atypique : l’église supérieure est soutenue en haut de la butte par une crypte romane. Les nombreuses chapelles qui lui ont été ajoutées aux XVe et XVIe siècles rendent cette église imposante et impressionnante.
Des interludes musicaux vous seront proposés de temps à autre le dimanche, pour vous permettre de découvrir les trésors que recèle ce monument tout en profitant de la mélodie de son orgue du XVIIe siècle.

Las numerosas capillas que le fueron añadidas en los siglos XV y XVI hacen de esta iglesia una iglesia imponente e impresionante.
De vez en cuando, los domingos, se ofrecen interludios musicales para descubrir los tesoros que esconde este monumento y disfrutar de la melodía de su órgano del siglo XVII.
