🌿 Meeting at the Gardens – June 6 and 7
Enjoy a free visit of the garden and the orchard to discover the place at your own pace and take on it your own gaze.
Here, the view becomes a transmission tool : learning to observe a plant, recognize it and know how to name it opens the door to a whole world. Behind every leaf, flower or tree hides a story: that of the relationship between humans and plants, their uses over the centuries and their evolution today.
Over the garden and the orchard, you will discover how the attentive observation of the landscape nourishes botanical, historical, and cultural knowledge.
📷 Photography workshops and exhibitions will punctuate the visit.

Saturday and Sunday at 10am and 3pm

At the Conservatory of Ancient Vegetables in Béarn, the plants are at home. They flourish in a bucolic setting where biodiversity is preserved, and reveal their millennial stories: traditions, legends or festive rituals, which testify to their deep connection with human societies. Beyond this cultural dimension, the vegetables and fruit of ancient varieties, from the terroir, recall the importance of their nourishing role and the benefits of a healthy diet that respects the environment. A plant heritage to preserve These plants maintain with men and women a timeless relationship, forming a common cultural and natural heritage. The challenge is to make future generations aware of the richness of secular plant treasures, in order to ensure their transmission and sustainability.
