Come and discover the oppidum of Jastres-Nord.
Classified as a historical monument, it includes a system of fortifications dated from the 1st century BC and covered an area of 7 hectares.
Its unique construction method makes it the oldest Gaulish building known to be entirely built in masonry, and the morphology of these fortifications foreshadows later Gallo-Roman enclosures, such as the famous enclosure of Nîmes.
