With the restorer Lorène Falco, learn how to make a stratigraphic window, a method used to unveil and date the different layers of paint in an ancient building.
Like a millefeuille, scratch one by one the layers of paintings with a scalpel and discover more about the history of the heritage building.

Avec la restauratrice Lorène Falco apprenez à réaliser une fenêtre stratigraphique, une méthode employée pour dévoiler et dater les différentes couches de peinture dans un édifice ancien.
Comme un millefeuille, grattez une à une les couches de peintures avec un scalpel et découvrez-en davantage sur l’histoire du bâtiment patrimonial.

Met conservator Lorène Falco leert u hoe u een stratigrafisch venster maakt, een methode die wordt gebruikt om de verschillende lagen verf in een oud gebouw te onthullen en dateren.
Schraap, net als een millefeuille, de lagen verf een voor een met een scalpel en ontdek meer over de geschiedenis van het erfgoedgebouw.
