In this year of the bicentenary of photography, the Médiathèque du patrimoine et de la photographie is in its element!
Constituted by the State in 1851, the collections held by the Médiathèque du patrimoine et de la photographie at the fort of Saint-Cyr include several million photographs. By its dimensions, robustness and thermal characteristics, the fort of Saint-Cyr lends itself ideally to this use.
With new passages open to visitors, the guided tour will take you through parts of the building that are emblematic of the architecture of 19th century forts: galleries, hidden staircases, turret...
A slideshow will give you an overview of the diversity of the collections.
