Located in the heart of the village of Saint-Tugen, the church tréviale sits in an enclosure delimited by a wall pierced with several echaliers and two triumphal arches. The southern one is monumental while the western one is so low that adults must bow to pass. In the southern part of this enclosure there is a cemetery.
The building has an irregular plan with a nave of four bays, aisles and flat bedside tables. The west side carries a square tower 28 meters high by 6.50 meters wide, inspired by the Saint-Corentin de Quimper cathedral. It has the peculiarity of carrying its arrow, not at its summit, but in the southwest corner.
At the base of it is one of the two main entrances to the chapel. This portal is, according to R. Couffon, so similar in design to that of Saint-Herbot en Plonévez-du-Faou that it seems to come from the same workshop.
