Die protestantische Mediathek des Stifts öffnet Ihnen erneut die Türen zu ihrem alten Bestand und bietet Ihnen einige Einblicke zum Thema des Jahres "Kulturerbe in Gefahr".
Die Sammlungen, die im Herzen des 16. Jahrhunderts und des protestantischen Straßburg begonnen wurden, sind zahlreichen Gefahren entkommen: Sie blieben der Französischen Revolution verschont und entkamen einem großen Brand im Juni 1860, dem des ehemaligen Dominikanerklosters am Ort des heutigen Gymnasiums Jean Sturm. Sie überlebten auch die Belagerung von Straßburg 1870 sowie den Zweiten Weltkrieg trotz der Noträumung und erzwungenen Rückführung. Und um eine Zeit näher an uns heranzuziehen, werden die Herausforderungen der Bibliothekspflege mit der Gruppe besprochen!
Nach einer Einführung und Entdeckung der Orte, die meist für die Öffentlichkeit geschlossen sind, entdecken Sie in der Bibliothek eine neue Auswahl an Kulturschätzen, mit Inkunabeln oder gedruckten Werken aus dem 16. und 17. Jahrhundert.

The Protestant library of the Stift opens once again the doors of its old collection and offers you some insights on the theme of the year "Heritage in danger".
The collections, started in the heart of the 16th century and Protestant Strasbourg, have escaped many dangers: spared from the French Revolution, they escape a major fire in June 1860, that of the former Dominican convent, on the site of the current Gymnase Jean Sturm. They also survived the siege of Strasbourg in 1870, as well as World War II despite emergency evacuation and forced repatriation. And to address a period closer to our time, the challenges of library conservation will be discussed with the group!
After a moment of introduction and discovery of the places, most of which are usually closed to the public, you will discover in the library a new selection of heritage treasures, with incunabula or books printed in the 16th and 17th centuries.

La Mediateca protestante del Stift vi apre ancora una volta le porte del suo antico fondo e vi propone alcune illuminazioni sul tema dell'anno "Patrimonio in pericolo".
Le collezioni, iniziate nel cuore del XVI secolo e della Strasburgo protestante, sono sfuggite a numerosi pericoli: salvate dalla Rivoluzione francese, sfuggono ad un grande incendio nel giugno 1860, quello dell'ex convento dei domenicani, sul sito dell'attuale Gymnase Jean Sturm. Sono sopravvissuti anche all'assedio di Strasburgo nel 1870 e alla seconda guerra mondiale, nonostante l'evacuazione d'emergenza e il rimpatrio forzato. E per affrontare un periodo più vicino a noi, le sfide della conservazione in biblioteca saranno affrontate con il gruppo!
Dopo un momento di introduzione e di scoperta dei luoghi, la maggior parte solitamente chiusi al pubblico, scoprirete nella biblioteca una nuova selezione di tesori del patrimonio, con incunaboli o libri stampati nel XVI e XVII secolo.

La Médiathèque protestante du Stift vous ouvre une nouvelle fois les portes de son fonds ancien et vous propose quelques éclairages sur le thème de l’année « Patrimoine en péril ».
Les collections, démarrées au coeur du XVIᵉ siècle et du Strasbourg protestant, ont échappé à de nombreux périls : épargnées à la Révolution française, elles échappent à un incendie majeur en juin 1860, celui de l’ancien couvent des Dominicains, à l'emplacement du Gymnase Jean Sturm actuel. Elles ont également survécu au siège de Strasbourg en 1870, ainsi qu'à la Seconde Guerre mondiale malgré l'évacuation d'urgence et le rapatriement forcé. Et pour aborder une période plus proche de nous, les défis de la conservation en bibliothèque seront abordés avec le groupe !
Après un moment d’introduction et de découverte des lieux, la plupart habituellement fermés au public, vous découvrirez dans la bibliothèque une nouvelle sélection de trésors patrimoniaux, avec des incunables ou encore des ouvrages imprimés aux XVIᵉ et XVIIᵉ siècles.

La Mediateca protestante del Stift le abre una vez más las puertas de su fondo antiguo y le ofrece algunas luces sobre el tema del año "Patrimonio en peligro".
Las colecciones, iniciadas en el corazón del siglo XVI y del Estrasburgo protestante, han escapado a numerosos peligros: salvadas de la Revolución francesa, escaparon a un gran incendio en junio de 1860, el del antiguo convento de los dominicos, en el emplazamiento del actual Gymnase Jean Sturm. También sobrevivieron al asedio de Estrasburgo en 1870, así como a la Segunda Guerra Mundial a pesar de la evacuación de emergencia y la repatriación forzada. Y para abordar un período más cercano a nosotros, ¡los desafíos de la conservación en la biblioteca se abordarán con el grupo!
Después de un momento de introducción y de descubrimiento de los lugares, la mayoría de los cuales suelen estar cerrados al público, descubrirá en la biblioteca una nueva selección de tesoros patrimoniales, con incunables o obras impresas en los siglos XVI y XVII.
