Come and discover the history of Saint-Ouen along a route through the old town, from the church of Vieux Saint-Ouen to the castle.
During this walk, we will talk about the major stages in the history of the city, its evolution over the centuries and the people who have marked its history. We will discuss in particular the past of the village, its development and its links with the monarchy.
The route will take us to the castle of Saint-Ouen, which we will discover from outside. We will be interested in its history and its different uses over time, until the Restoration. We will discuss in particular Louis XVIII and the Duchess of Cayla, figures closely linked to the history of the castle, as well as the transformations that accompanied this period.
A walk to rediscover Saint-Ouen through its streets, its heritage and the stories of those who have shaped the city.
