Von Franz Schubert bis Johannes Brahms lädt Pascale Verdier, künstlerische Leiterin des Chores de l'Orchestre de Pau Pays de Béarn (OPPB), ein, die verschiedenen Facetten des musikalischen Schreibens dieser Epoche zu entdecken.
Auf dem Programm: mehrere Motetten von Mendelssohn, die Stabat Mater von Schubert und Rheinberger, das Schicksalslied und ein Auszug aus dem deutschen Requiem von Brahms sowie die Auszüge Nr. 8 und 10 der Sinfonie-Kantate Lobgesang und das Laudate pueri von Mendelssohn.
Die verschiedenen Vokalwerke werden abwechselnd a cappella, mit Klavierbegleitung oder in Auszügen aus größeren Werken aufgeführt.
Der Chor und das Orchester werden hier in einer Besetzung für Chor und Klavier auftreten.

From Franz Schubert to Johannes Brahms, Pascale Verdier, artistic director of the Choir of the Orchestre de Pau Pays de Béarn (OPPB), invites you to discover the different facets of musical writing of this period.
On the programme: several motets by Mendelssohn, the Stabat Mater by Schubert and Rheinberger, the Wers' Salslied and an excerpt from Brahms' German Requiem, as well as excerpts nos. 8 and 10 from the symphony-cantata Lobgesang and Mendelssohn’s Laudate pueri.
The various vocal works will be performed alternately a cappella, with piano accompaniment or in the form of excerpts from larger works.
The Choir and the Orchestra will perform here in a formation for choir and piano.

Da Franz Schubert a Johannes Brahms, Pascale Verdier, direttore artistico del Coro dell'Orchestra di Pau Pays de Béarn (OPPB), vi invita a scoprire le diverse sfaccettature della scrittura musicale di quell'epoca.
In programma: diversi mottetti di Mendelssohn, gli Stabat Mater di Schubert e di Rheinberger, il Schicksalslied e un estratto del Requiem tedesco di Brahms, nonché gli estratti n. 8 e 10 della sinfonia-cantata Lobgesang e il Laudate pueri di Mendelssohn.
Le varie opere vocali saranno interpretate a turno a cappella, con accompagnamento al pianoforte o sotto forma di estratti da opere più ampie.
Il coro e l'orchestra si esibiranno qui in una formazione per coro e pianoforte.
