Erbaut 1890 auf einem 14 Hektar großen Anwesen zwischen Weinbergen und Obstbäumen, ist das "Château-Picon" der Aufnahme von Frauen gewidmet. Es ist das Werk des Architekten Jean-Jacques Valleton aus der Bergerie.
Ein echtes Dorf in der Stadt, mit seinem Park, seiner Kapelle und seinen Gebäuden mit neugotischer Architektur. Die Einrichtung wurde gemischt und erhielt 1974 ihren heutigen Namen, was den Beginn einer neuen Politik für psychische Gesundheit in Frankreich markierte. Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts wird es als Musterasyl präsentiert.
Diese Besuche ermöglichen es, die Geschichte des Krankenhauses kennenzulernen, die von zahlreichen künstlerischen und kulturellen Einflüssen geprägt ist. Sie werden von Olivier Deltheil, dem Fremdenführer und Dolmetscher, sowie vom Kulturzentrum des Centre hospitalier Charles-Perrens geleitet.

Built in 1890 on a 14-hectare estate, between vines and fruit trees, the "Château-Picon" is dedicated to welcoming women. It is the work of the Bergerac architect Jean-Jacques Valleton.
A true village in the city, with its park, chapel and buildings of neo-Gothic architecture, the establishment became mixed and took its current name in 1974, marking the beginning of a new mental health policy in France. At the end of the 19th century, it was presented as a model asylum.
These visits will allow you to discover the history of the hospital, punctuated by numerous artistic and cultural traces. They will be led by Olivier Deltheil, guide-interpreter, as well as by the Culture department of the Charles-Perrens Hospital Center.

Vero villaggio della città, con il suo parco, la cappella e gli edifici dall'architettura neogotica, l'istituto diventa misto e prende il nome attuale nel 1974, segnando l'inizio di una nuova politica di salute mentale in Francia. Alla fine del XIX secolo, è presentato come un manicomio modello.
Queste visite permetteranno di scoprire la storia dell'ospedale, scandita da numerose impronte artistiche e culturali. Saranno condotte da Olivier Deltheil, guida-interprete, nonché dal polo Cultura del Centre hospitalier Charles-Perrens.

Véritable village dans la ville, avec son parc, sa chapelle et ses bâtiments à l’architecture néogothique, l’établissement devient mixte et prend son nom actuel en 1974, marquant le début d’une nouvelle politique de santé mentale en France. À la fin du XIXe siècle, il est présenté comme un asile modèle.
Ces visites permettront de découvrir l’histoire de l’hôpital, rythmée par de nombreuses empreintes artistiques et culturelles. Elles seront conduites par Olivier Deltheil, guide-interprète, ainsi que par le pôle Culture du Centre hospitalier Charles-Perrens.
