Von einer Wüste zur anderen
Diese Ausstellung, in Verbindung mit dem Museum der Wüste (Mialet), stellt parallel zwei Wüsten dar, die geografische Wüste und die Wüste der Protestanten, und erinnert an die hugenottische Geschichte in den Cevennen.
Die Themen der Bilder (Fotografien, Zeichnungen und Gemälde) sind um drei Verben herum aufgebaut: widerstehen, hoffen, leben.
Wüste von hier, Wüste anderswo... Zwei wunderschön schöne und schrecklich feindselige Welten. Zwei Welten, deren gemeinsamer Nenner "das menschliche Dasein" von Frauen und Männern bleibt, die sich entschieden haben, dort gegen alles zu leben.
Françoise Larribe, auf Initiative der Ausstellung, die mehrere geografische Wüsten kennt und die Geiselnahme eines Al-Qaida-Kommandos in Niger erlebt hat, wird die Ausstellung am Freitag, den 18. September um 19 Uhr präsentieren.

From one desert to another
This exhibition, in connection with the Desert Museum (Mialet), poses two deserts in parallel, the geographical desert and the Protestant desert, evoking the history of the Huguenot in the Cévennes.
The themes of the paintings (photographs, drawings and paintings) are declined around three verbs: resist, hope, live.
Desert from here, Desert from elsewhere... Two beautifully beautiful and terribly hostile worlds. Two worlds whose common denominator remains the "human condition" of women and men who have chosen to live there against all odds.
Françoise Larribe, at the initiative of the exhibition, who knows several geographical deserts, and who has experienced the ordeal of being a hostage of a commando of the group Al-Qaeda in Niger, will present the exhibition on Friday, September 18 at 7pm.
