A village exposes its history
Jambville, its past, a present
History is a long ribbon that runs and lengthens from day to day like a DNA ribbon. It is always good to decipher the pieces that compose it, important or anecdotal, all are essential! What is valid for a human is also valid for a village.
We wish to illustrate, in 192 panels, the richness of our local history. Thanks to a wide variety of documents, postcards, class photos, municipal stamps, press articles, written or oral souvenirs, we will walk among monuments and statues, meeting the Jambvillois of the past: bankers, castellans, cyclists, clergymen, breeders, farmers, industrialists, teachers, carpenters, millers, painters, lords etc...
