Anlässlich der Europäischen Tage des Denkmals weiht Dumphlun seine Schreibresidenz ein und empfängt den Schriftsteller, Philosophen und Übersetzer Maël Renouard.
Dieser erste öffentliche Abend wird eine Lesung und ein anschließendes Gespräch zum Thema der Europäischen Tage des Kulturerbes 2026, "Das Erbe der Fotografie", umfassen.
Wie werden Fotografien zu Spuren der Vergangenheit? Was bewahren sie von einem Ort, einem Gesicht oder einer Epoche? Welche Beziehung hat das Schreiben zu den Bildern, dem Gedächtnis und der Erinnerung?
Diese Fragen sind besonders relevant für die Arbeit von Maël Renouard, dessen Werk die Verbindungen zwischen Literatur, Erinnerung und historischer Erfahrung erforscht. Autor von L'Historiographe du royaume und De la réminiscence, er war der erste Schriftsteller, der im Rahmen des Wohnsitzes von Dumphlun aufgenommen wurde.
Die Schreibresidenz stellt einen neuen Schritt in der kulturellen Programmierung dar, die seit mehreren Jahren in Dumphlun entwickelt wird. Sie verbindet eine lange Zeit, die der Schöpfung gewidmet ist, mit einigen Momenten der Begegnung mit den Bewohnern, Lesern und dem schulischen Publikum des Gebiets. Die Residenz 2026 sieht daher Aktien in Dumphlun, im Herzen der Nièvre und in Nevers vor.
Durch diese Residenz verfolgt Dumphlun einen seit 2021 eingeschlagenen Weg: das Schloss und seinen Bauernhof, die derzeit restauriert werden, nicht nur zu einem Erbe zu machen, sondern auch zu einem Ort, an dem zeitgenössische Schöpfung, Geschichte und Territorium miteinander in Dialog treten können.
Nach der Lektüre und dem Gespräch folgt ein Getränk mit Maël Renouard und den Teilnehmern.

On the occasion of the European Heritage Days, Dumphlun inaugurates its writing residence by welcoming writer, philosopher and translator Maël Renouard.
This first public evening will take the form of a reading followed by a conversation around the 2026 theme of the European Heritage Days, "Heritage of Photography".
How do photographs become traces of the past? What do they preserve of a place, a face or an era? What relationship does writing have with images, memory, and reminiscence?
These questions resonate particularly with the work of Maël Renouard, whose work explores the links between literature, memory and historical experience. Author in particular of the Historiographe du royaume and of De la réminiscence, he was the first writer to be welcomed as part of Dumphlun’s residence.
The writing residency is a new step in the cultural programming developed in Dumphlun for several years. It combines a long time devoted to creation with moments of encounter with the inhabitants, readers and school audiences of the territory. The 2026 residence thus plans actions in Dumphlun, in the heart of the Nièvre and in Nevers.
Through this residence, Dumphlun has been pursuing a committed approach since 2021: to make the castle and its farm being restored not only a heritage to be passed on, but also a place where contemporary creation, history, and territory can dialogue.
Reading and conversation will be followed by a drink with Maël Renouard and the participants.

In occasione delle Giornate europee del patrimonio, Dumphlun inaugura la sua residenza di scrittura accogliendo lo scrittore, filosofo e traduttore Maël Renouard.
Questa prima serata pubblica prenderà la forma di una lettura seguita da una conversazione sul tema 2026 delle Giornate europee del patrimonio, "Patrimonio della fotografia".
Come le fotografie diventano tracce del passato? Cosa conservano di un luogo, di un volto o di un'epoca? Che relazione ha la scrittura con le immagini, la memoria e la reminiscenza?
Queste domande risuonano particolarmente con il lavoro di Maël Renouard, la cui opera esplora i legami tra letteratura, memoria ed esperienza storica. Autore in particolare de L'Historiographe du royaume e de De la réminiscence, è il primo scrittore accolto nell'ambito della residenza di Dumphlun.
La residenza di scrittura costituisce una nuova tappa nella programmazione culturale sviluppata a Dumphlun da diversi anni. Unisce un lungo tempo dedicato alla creazione ad alcuni momenti di incontro con gli abitanti, i lettori e il pubblico scolastico del territorio. La residenza 2026 prevede azioni a Dumphlun, nel cuore della Nièvre e a Nevers.
Attraverso questa residenza, Dumphlun persegue una strada intrapresa dal 2021: fare del castello e della sua fattoria in corso di restauro non solo un patrimonio da trasmettere, ma anche un luogo dove creazione contemporanea, storia e territorio possono dialogare.

À l’occasion des Journées européennes du patrimoine, Dumphlun inaugure sa résidence d’écriture en accueillant l’écrivain, philosophe et traducteur Maël Renouard.
Cette première soirée publique prendra la forme d’une lecture suivie d’une conversation autour du thème 2026 des Journées européennes du patrimoine, « Patrimoine de la photographie ».
Comment les photographies deviennent-elles des traces du passé ? Que conservent-elles d’un lieu, d’un visage ou d’une époque ? Quelle relation l’écriture entretient-elle avec les images, la mémoire et la réminiscence ?
Ces questions résonnent particulièrement avec le travail de Maël Renouard, dont l’œuvre explore les liens entre littérature, mémoire et expérience historique. Auteur notamment de L’Historiographe du royaume et de De la réminiscence, il est le premier écrivain accueilli dans le cadre de la résidence de Dumphlun.
La résidence d’écriture constitue une nouvelle étape dans la programmation culturelle développée à Dumphlun depuis plusieurs années. Elle associe un temps long consacré à la création à quelques moments de rencontre avec les habitants, lecteurs et publics scolaires du territoire. La résidence 2026 prévoit ainsi des actions à Dumphlun, dans le cœur de la Nièvre et à Nevers.
À travers cette résidence, Dumphlun poursuit une démarche engagée depuis 2021 : faire du château et de sa ferme en cours de restauration non seulement un patrimoine à transmettre, mais aussi un lieu où création contemporaine, histoire et territoire peuvent dialoguer.

Esta primera velada pública tomará la forma de una lectura seguida de una conversación sobre el tema 2026 de las Jornadas Europeas del Patrimonio, «Patrimonio de la fotografía».
¿Cómo se convierten las fotografías en huellas del pasado? ¿Qué conservan de un lugar, de un rostro o de una época? ¿Qué relación tiene la escritura con las imágenes, la memoria y la reminiscencia?
Estas preguntas resuenan particularmente con el trabajo de Maël Renouard, cuya obra explora los vínculos entre literatura, memoria y experiencia histórica. Autor de L'Historiographe du royaume y de De la réminiscence, fue el primer escritor acogido en el marco de la residencia de Dumphlun.
La residencia de escritura constituye una nueva etapa en la programación cultural desarrollada en Dumphlun desde hace varios años. Combina un largo tiempo dedicado a la creación con algunos momentos de encuentro con los habitantes, lectores y públicos escolares del territorio. La residencia 2026 prevé así acciones en Dumphlun, en el corazón de Nièvre y en Nevers.
A través de esta residencia, Dumphlun persigue una estrategia iniciada en 2021: hacer del castillo y su granja en proceso de restauración no solo un patrimonio que transmitir, sino también un lugar donde la creación contemporánea, la historia y el territorio pueden dialogar.
La lectura y la conversación serán seguidas por una copa con Maël Renouard y los participantes.
